FACULTY To the Faculty of Stoughton High: Throughout our four years at Stoughton High School you have been an essential factor in helping us to acquire a sound education. As our instructors you have guided us painstakingly along the road of learning until, now, we have come to the last step of our journey — graduation. Our diplomas will represent not only four year of hard work and prolonged study, but also the sometimes forgotten helping hand you have extended to us. Now that our high school days have come to an end, we realize how much we have depended upon you, as teachers, guides, and friends. Yes, you have become our friends as well as our advisers. For that reason our classes ceased to be chores and had become pleasures. When one has been taught by educators sympathetic with the problems of the individual student, one finds enjoyment even in the most difficult tasks. We sincerely hope that we shall fulfill the promise of our student days and that the seeds you have planted will bear abundant fruit. THE CLASS OF 1954 4
