1949 SEMAPHORE CLASS WILL We, the ambitious and determined class of ' 49, having completed four unforgettable and joyous years of learning and companionship, do hereby will and bequeath, on this day of June some of our talents, luck, happiness and traditions, to those future seniors whom we deem worthy of them. To Mr. Randall we leave our countless thanks for his helpful guidance and untiring efforts. To all the faculty, who will no doubt find that we were not the noisiest and most mischievous class ever to graduate, we leave our immeasurable appreciation for their patience and sincere friendship through these four memorable years. To the Junior Class we leave the task of furthering the ideals we have thus far advanced. To the innocent Freshmen and Sophomores we leave our experience in overcoming the usual trials and tribulations of the Senior Class. Our Class Officers leave with hope that the Student Council will conti nue to fulfill its duties as well as it has done in the past year. Louise McCourt leaves her likeable personality to Maureen Keefe. Gloria DiCastro, Shirley Krona and Dot Storkus leave their duties in the office to the Junior office girls. Tony Silva leaves his two front teeth. Gene St. Germaine leaves his manly physique to Frank Churchill. Jimmie Williams, with the hope of becoming a contractor, just leaves. Felix Santos wills his shoestring tackling ability to Wally Whittemore. Shirley Henry and Audrey Kelly leave their scholastic ability and quietness to future seniors. Henry Green leaves for his white collar job at Jimmies. Jeanne Russell and Ginny Raymond leave their noisy friendship to any underclass- men who think that they can equal it. The football squad leaves an excellent record. Dot Delasco wills her duties as secretary for the ' 49ers to the person who will acquire it next. Eddie Dray leaves his headaches from collecting and refunding money to the next class treasurer. Celia Andrade and Gladys Fiske leave their stockroom with joy. Bobbie Addison wills her pretty eyes to Joan Daley. Pat Winifisky and Harrie Clark will their sketching ability to future members of the Art Club. 27
