Today we have for our program the events in the lives of the men and women who graduated in the Stonington High School Class of 195-1. lV'in.r ilfifr America Context Mary Hobart wins the 1964 Miss America Contest which was recently held in Mystic, Conn. Return to S.H.S. af Coaches' Franklin Sylvia and Robert Siegel, who graduated from S.H.S. ten years ago, have returned as the coaches of football and basketball. Add Names' to Hall of Fame Kenneth Brown, Barry Morton, and Robert Browning engrave their names in Baseballs Hall of Fame. Dedicater P.a1Zl'NI'JJ'f01IlJII H oxpital Fred Pampel today made a speech dedicating the Pawmystonian Hospital. The staff has been announced and includes many S.H.S. 195-L graduates, who are: Dr. Ronald Walter, Dr. William Robinson and Dr. Joseph Previty. The nurses include, Pat Quattromani, Annette Mailhot, Janet Schiller, Jessie Spivey, Bette Sidebottom, Dorothea Danko, Joanne Sutcliffe, Mary Lidestri, Barb- era White, Lucy Stewartg and Joyce Worcester, dieticiang Greta Wolff and Pat Van Pelt, physical therapists, and Joanne Coron, dental hygienist. Wlith this excellent staff it will soon be one of the best hospitals in the country. Lecture on Political Sitttatiofz hj' Tzciur Ronald and Russell Brown are touring the world and explaining the political situation to the people. After the tour they hope to become President and Vice Presi- dent of the United States. C oacher Cornell Team Robert Keane has been appointed head of the football team of Cornell and William Buck is his assistant. A meeting of the Business Women of America took place in New York City today, Miss Joan Orlando, a private secretary from Hollywood, California, was elected president of the organization for the coming year. Others elected for office were Beverly Shaw, vice president, Mary Serrano, secretary, and Eileen Shea, treasurer. Other members present were Deborah Wilkinson, Mary Chris- tina, Nancy Ball, Janet Marcotte, Beverly Swain, Johonor Santos, Frances Spinnato, and Pat Scheller. Receive Holiorr in Service Many of the boys who joined the Air Force are now receiving honors. Among them are Captain Richard Dyer, First Lieutenant Francis Serrano, Major James Victoria, Second Lieutenants Philip Jeckel and Harold Sherman, and Colonel Albert Hoelck. Those receiving honors in the Army include Lieutenant Colonel Gerald Jones, Major Donald Keane, Captain Warren LeValley, and General Robert Whitford. Representing the Navy are Captain Charles Beal, Commodore William Martley, Ad- miral Albert Holly, and Commander Clarence Donath.
