The Literary Club Sponsor—Miss Lloyd The Literary Club was organized the first of the year and many new members were enrolled. This year we’ve made plans to enter the Literary Contest at Bridge- water College. Contestants may enter: Boys and Girls Prose Read¬ ing, Boys and Girls Public Speaking, Poetry Reading, Spelling, and this year perhaps a Debating team. In 1945, students from this school were the winners from Frederick County in Prose, Poetry, Public Speaking and Spelling. 59
