Junior Class Officers President-Doris King Vice President-Juanita Joyce Secretary-Frances Joyce Treasurer-Margie Smith With the above students officiating the Junior class has put over a very successful year. Sponsored Program The Junior class sponsored a musical program in the auditorium February 21, 1959, when the Stratton sisters unfolded their talent before those who attended. An unusual feature of the program was the comedy UTwo Timing Han,n which was greeted with loud applause. The proceeds of this performance went to the Junior-Senior fund. , Junior-Senior Banquet The annual Junior-Senior banquet was held at the Jefferson Reef Restaurant, Greensboro, N. C,, March 51, l959. All the fair sex were :rrayod in evening attire and the boys rlso were nrrayed in their smartest outfits. J The banquet hall was changed into a hugh ocean liner. As the guests arrived they were welcomed by the ship officers, who were given kodak pictures as passports, Soon everyone was finding his place on deck after reading the sign over the entrance which stated: HPeaceful Seas Ahead.H The tables were neatly arranged in blue and whites ln the center of each a,nhip sailed on glassy seas. Flags bearing names of the seniors flew from the ship's masts. The progrnm and menu were printed in book form with the S. S. Senior Ship on the front.
