Johnson, Ritzmann, Meistrell, S. Johnson, Prew, Schubert. Every Monday afternoon the Glee Club meets in Coleman Hall under the direction of Mrs. Esther Norris. The club is composed of fifty-six girls. From these, twenty-four were chosen for a special choral group known as The Madrigal Club. Dr The Glee Club has appeared in concerts in Greenfield and Deerfield as well as on school pro- grams. Its first performance of the year was given after the Tableaux in the Christmas service. On February seventeenth, the Glee Club sang N Q Civ M . 4 . 5. on , ' 5 - ' , 7 in the Methodist church for The University of Life. qs . . 5 0 P The year's most popular and most anticipated X X 'X k' event, however, is the operetta with Deerfield Academy which is presented on the third and fourth of June. A Gilbert and Sullivan work is usually chosen, and the two choruses are led by Mr. Ralph Oatley of Deerfield. 'S sf,

WOODLOCK This year's Juniors took on their traditional project ot the school news- paper, High Times, under the able leadership ot Mike Hughes and Stetfie Kearley. Jerry Wesselhoett, Dee Drainie, and Marie McDonnell have done a territic iob of rounding up all the news and notes ot interest from all over the campus. Janka Thompson and Gee Goerke have pro- vided the paper with clever photographs and illustrations. There has also been a great deal ot original work, including short stories and poems, which were contributed by some of our more talented writers. Ann Evans ably undertook the task of typing up these various and sundry articles for the publisher. The statt, with the cooperation of many volunteer reporters from all the classes, put out tour extremely successful issues, tull of interesting and enioyable reading. They are to be congratulated tor their tine work.
