STUDE T CCUNCIL L ' 0 Mrs. Emerson, Susan Buckner, Betsy Barry, Barbara Lloyd, Suzanne Kendall, Mary Louise Salinger, Susan White, Renate Kohn-Olaya, Janet Maclaughlin. This year, the Student Council was merged into a single governing body made up of representatives elected from each class. A new con- stitution was drawn up, and a more effective disciplinary system in- troduced. Weekly Faculty-Student Council meetings were established in order to promote a closer relationship between the students and teachers, as well as to aid in the better understanding of the needs,ot each group. ATHLETIC COUNCIL Renate Kohn-Olaya, Mary Ann Marks, Mrs. Kelis, Suzanne Kendall, Patricia Robison, Marian Williams One of the most active organizations at Stoneleigh, the Athletic Coun- cil arranges intramural sports, schedules contests between the Chanti- cleer and Corazon teams, and plans a horse show in May, as well as choosing the All-Star and Varsity teams at the close of each sports sea- son. The Council is also in charge of producing and directing the Stone- leigh Scandals, an annual humorous review presented each year.
