Dear Seniors: Under the leadership of our strong-minded Class Pres- ident, Sue White, the Freshmen have completed their first year at Stoneleigh, with the exception of Betty Killam, Earlyne Cook, and Linda Strecker, who were here last year. We have found boarding school a new and Wonderful ex- perience. Along with Sue, we elected Betty Killam, Vice Pres- ident, Beverly Mitchell, Secretary, and Joan Mitchell, Treas- urer. Mrs. Deems has been a very patient and understand- ing advisor, and her help has been greatly appreciated. This year, Freshman Class proiects have included a prof- itable raffle, a dance, and cookie-baking. We have all found Stoneleigh a very warm and wonderful place, and are looking forward to next year with much enthusiasm. With the best of luck to you all. The Class of 1960

Dear Seniors: Our class grew to such an extent during the summer, that we delayed elections until the end of the fall term, when our able leaders were chosen. We are very proud of our two classmates, Janet MacLaughlin and Sue Fowler, who have earned high honors each term. Janet is also our class representative to the Student Council, and has done an excellent iob. Our first dance was held with Proctor Academy in November, and this activity, along with the proceeds from the sale of ice cream through- out the year, have made our treasury grow. We are grateful to Mrs. McFee for her wholehearted cooperation, particularly during our very successful Winter Carnival Weekend which we held in February.
