Every year here at Stoneleigh seven girls are elected from the Senior Class by the student body and faculty to stand in the Queen's court. They are chosen on the merits of Friendliness, School Spirit, Leadership, Loy- alty, Popularity, and Beauty. The girl who receives the most votes out of these seven Seniors-Marilyn Morley, Amey Barger, Weesie Salinger, Suzanne Campbell, Sherrie Stephens, Rennie Kohn-Olaya, and Sue Kendall-is the Queen and will be crowned at the June Day Festivities. The identity of the queen is not revealed until that time. All are anticipat- ing the moment when the dancer will curtsy before pronouncing her the June Queen of 1957.
