Guides Us On Our Way BUSINESS The aim of the business department is to train a student in the basic skills necessary to obtain a rewarding job after graduation. With a solid background in typing, bookkeeping, busi- ness law, and transcription, a student is well- prepared either to hold a substantial position in the business world or to continue his educa- tion in a junior college or a business school. 1 With A Splendid Light I INDUSTRIAL ARTS Thanks to our modern facilities, courses in Machine Shop, Woodworking, Printing, Sheet Metal, and Me- chanical Drawing are offered at Stoneham High. The industrial arts program provides excellent opportunities for trade-minded boys to develop their skills. Several of our social affairs could not function without these boys and their fine work. HOME ECONOMICS In home economics classes the girls learn the numer- ous arts of maintaining a home. With all the advantages of modern appliances, the girls progress rapidly to become well-informed, accomplished housewives. Under the careful instruction and watchful eye of Miss Inez Bernor, our home economics department provides a substantial education in all facets of homemaking. Miss Inez Bernor of the Home Eco- nomics Department. Miss Bernor helps Carol Daniels and Donna Sheehan pin a pattern.
