Everything has increased: the number of courses, their quality, and, most important, the en- thusiasm of the students. Advanced courses on the college level have been instituted, while existing classes have been overhauled to meet higher standards. ENGLISH Effective expression of our thoughts has been the un- relenting goal of our English department. Under the guidance of capable instructors we have developed pro- ficiency in verbal and written communication. A Dedicated Faculty . . . MATHEMATICS In spite of the classroom loss, due to promotion, of its inimitable chairman during this, our final year, the mathe- matics department has continued to ably bridge the gap between plane geometry and the calculus. Efficiently covering the entire field of high school mathematics in an understandable but challenging manner, the individual instructors well merit the respect and gratitude accorded them by us.
