They may take such courses as typing, bookkeeping, office practice, business law, and transcrip- tion. All the latest business machines may be found in our business department. The quality of the training students receive is proved by the number of students who go on to ad- vanced training in business colleges after graduation. This typing class is really concentrating on the assignment. Languages Are The Keys To Inter- National Understanding LANGUAGE DEPT. Foreign languages become increasingly im- portant as modern transportation brings our world neighbors closer to us. While teaching us the skills of foreign tongues, the teachers of our language department have acquainted us with the customs, art, literature, and cultural back- ground of these foreign neighbors as well. With this knowledge comes a greater understanding of these people. Elaine Pray, Phyllis Freeman, and Beverly Maskell look on as Edward Steeves describes les devoirs de demain. % Miss Lydia Risi, chairman of the department.
