' PreparUy For Busims CareBrs Our business department, with its many fine teachers, has succeeded in preparing students for many varied positions in the business world. Some of the more important subjects studied are shorthand, typing, book- keeping, and business law. The addition of modern machines has kept the department in step with present day business methods. A firm foundation in French and Latin has been gained by all of us who have had the privilege of attending their classes. Mrs. Gertrude Cariello and Miss Lydia Risi. Making use of the language laboratory are Paula Cox, Melanie Rose, Ellen McKnight, Susan Whitehouse, Hazel Wallace, Joyce Montague, and Beverly Balestrier. Miss Risi looks on as Mary Doran reads in French class. Miss Risi ' s senior students seem to be enjoying a lesson in French IV.
