With the arrival of fall we got into the swing of things at S.H.S. The football season started, and the cheer- leaders, pep squad, majorettes, and band urged the team on to victory. The first dance of the year was a big event for everyone. Also active during this season were the girls ' field hockey team and the boys ' cross- country team. The highlight of the season was the pres- entation of The Man Who Came to Dinner by tal- ented members of the senior cl ass. Graduation still seemed far away as fall gave way to winter. 8
