Enthusiasm and Good Sportmanship Louise Huntoon, co-captain, congratulates Annmarie Davidson, co-coptain elect, as Melanie Rose, co-cap- tain elect, receives best wishes from Joyce Turner, co- captain. Both the varsity and the junior varsity be- gan the year on a bright note as they defeated Woburn. This was remarkable in view of the fact that it occurred just one day after the. teams were chosen. Two more victories fol- lowed the opener. After these victories goals were difficult to get but despite this, the enthusiasm and good sportsmanship remained. The girls enjoyed the bus rides to other towns, the friendliness of all, and the party after the last game. The jayvees improved steadily as the sea- son progressed and should provide their oppo- nents with strong opposition next year. Diane Raupach, Louise Huntoon, Joyce Turner, and Judy Clark are ready for the game to begin. First row, left to right: L. Huntoon, A. Davidson, I. An- derson, B. Hunter, J. Luscombe, J. Turner. Second row: D. Raupach, M. LoVetere, J. MacDonald, L. Burnett, J. Clark, J. Wooster, Mrs. Christie. D. Stevens, P. Rich- ardson, D. Apalakis, and J. Swadel were absent when the picture was taken.
