WHAT IS A SENIOR.... A senior, busy, fun-loving, and yet still serious, is the oldest and most envied student in S.H.S. He has a definite opinion on everything from pizza to poetry, and will proceed to elaborate without any persuasion whatever. We may find a senior working at the Star or carousing in the corridors at the most peculiar times. Wherever you find one, you find his hilarious jokes, his momentous decisions, and his impeccable taste. A senior likes open houses, hotrods, mad breakfasts, twerp weeks, beach parties, and other class activities. His dislikes run the gamut from examinations and studying to the inevitable report card. Our athletic teams are an important part of a senior ' s life. It makes no difference if he is a participant or a spectator, a senior supports his school. A feeling of sorrow at the last football game or last everything is experienced by a senior at these activities. When June comes around, the glory and days of a senior in high school will be over. He will now go out into the world to follow his own decided paths in life. Graduation will bring sadness to the senior, but at the same time he will be eager to start his new life for which he has been trained so well at S.H.S. A Senior will never forg et his happy high school years as he goes forth to serve. 23
