FACULTY : 1 1 11 Students learn to express them- selves both orally and in writing and gain an appreciation for good literature in the classrooms of Mrs. Janet Randolph, Mr. Richard Stott, Mrs. Sadie Marshall, head of the department, Mr. Bernard Smith, and Mrs. Vera Curley. Mr. Robert Millett, head of the department, Mr. William Miller, and Mr. Joseph Collins help us understand this complex world of scientific achievement in which we live. Skillful use of foreign languages and on understanding of peoples and their customs are empha- sized by Miss Lydia Risi and Mrs. Gertrude Cariello.

Mrs. Gertrude Coriello and Mr. Martin Mar- tinian, our guidance counselors, are in charge of the testing program and counseling services which aid us when we plan our future. Clerical work associated with school adminis- tration is handled with neatness and dispatch by Mrs. Ada Keating and Mrs. Alice Walsh, our personable secretaries. Mrs. Beulah Forbes, school nurse, makes periodic checks of students ' health to make certain they are physically able to hondle the educational requirements. scholastic needs

They give us knowledge Students prepare themselves for jobs in industry as they are taught me- chanical drawing ond metal work by Mr. Renato Paolini and Mr. Walter Herrick. Miss Miriam Marsh, school librarian, directs the Reading for Pleasure pro- gram in the high school and is al- ways ready to help students find source material for homework as- signments. Girls are given adequate prepara- tion for their future roles in the home by our very efficient Miss Inez Bernor.
