A ith co lor l‘ii I uniforms, precision inarching, and impressive music, the hand helped to make our sports, games, and rallies successful. The band provided us with special entertainment dur- ing the halves of all nine football games. Under the direction of Mr. Alfred Todaro, the band had one of its best ears. X e salute our hard-working hand whose enthusiasm contributed a great deal to our school spirit. Twirling batons and Hashing uniforms intro- duced the S. H. S. majorettes who gave a spirited routine for the Saturday afternoon sport fans. Their long hours of practice paid off when these attractive majorettes exhibited their spectacular twirling and marching at the games. The seniors who played were Co-captains Peter Berrini and Joe Dixon, Dick Steele, Dave Wood- bury, Jack Robinson, John Fleisher, Paul Griffin. Ed Thompson, and Dick Taylor.
