Travel is broadening, and through the teaching of Mrs. Gertrude Cariello, Latin teacher, and Miss Lydia Risi, French teacher, we imaginatively journeyed into foreign lands and lea rned much about the language, customs, and literature of other countries. SCIENCE To create a greater interest in science through the teaching of biology, chemistry, and physics were the chief aims of Mr, Robert Millett, also our hockey coach, and Mr. William Miller, Head of the Science Department. LANGUAGE SOCIAL STUDIES MATHEMATICS To most students, math is rather difficult, especially in its higher forms, but the courses at Stoneham High were made more enjoyable for all by the humor of Mr. Chester Jordan, assistant hockey coach, and Mr. F.lba Carrier, the Ellery (,)ueen of the faculty. V The future depends on the past. With this thought in mind our history teachers impressed us with our rich heritage and prepared us to he good Americans. Mr. Roger I.amson, Mr. Anthony Deteso, Mr. Earle Thibodeau, Mr. Frank Driscoll, and Mr. John Fawcett. -t : .1 5 • ' ' 4
