jOAOci CO-f. CudA. In shop we first learned how to scale wood and extract sawdust from our eyes! Hard to tell which had the better paint job — the hands or the project! In the cooking room the girls created delect- able odors which drifted up to torture our agon- ized stomachs during fourth period!

S CUUV ' jCJU If we asked questions, if we wondered why this or that was so, and if we refused to accept a statement without ex- amining it . . . then we did all right in sciences, those studies pertaining to causes and deri- vations, studies trying to an- swer all the whys and hows. Maybe going mad over alge- bra problems or suffocating in a chlorine-filled lab seemed a strange means to the end; but when our answers, laboriously and logically derived, came out right, it made us feel good. We had answered one more why or how, and only a few million were still unanswered.

oaCC A splash of blue paint ... a lump of wet clay ... a piece of red morocco and originality! All these things sug- gest the personal enrichment we have found in our art classes through devel- oping an appreciation of the beautiful, and by using our talents with skill and vision. The greatest joy in life is found in being creative!
