hmi Memories HOMEWORK How can I possibly get this done? There ' s play rehearsal tonight! Basketball practice this afternoon, I haven ' t a moment to write! Of course I can ' t skip activities, That ' s what makes high school fun, I guess once more I ' ll have to say, My homework isn ' t done! DETENTION Our fondest recollection, Of our Stoneham High School days, That marvelous, grandest thing of all: Detention; the latest craze! Many a lonesome hour, Paid for our mischievous acts. Many a lonesome hour, For giving excuses, not facts !! EATING AT RECESS Our recess period is often spent (Don ' t tell the office, though!) Eating those extra sandwiches, To keep us on the go! It ' s funny how empty we can get, When it ' s finally recess time, When a tuna sandwich tastes so good, Yes, a tasty little crime!! DESKS WITH CONVERSATIONS One day on your history desk you write, Lorraine and Johnny B. The next day underneath it is Ha! Big joke! She likes me! Then on and on writing goes, (Desk friendships form so fast!) Learning more about Friday night dates, Than those boring dates of the past. CORRIDOR ROMANCES Meet me after French class; You can walk with me to Trig ' . Couples always have to meet, When their romance is big. Wand ' ring around the corridors, Together as much as can be. Such exhibitions of sweet true love, Are tender sights to see. Carolyn Henderson
