he Foreign Language Magnet Program at the Kittredge Center for Gifted Children of- fers interested stu- dents the opportunity to learn the Japanese, Chinese, and Rus- sian languages in Dekalb Coun- ty. The magnet school is a spe- cial program that meets during third and fourth period of every school day. The students reach the magnet school by bus. Al- though the program absorbs two Class periods per day, one year of the Magnet Program is worth two years of language credit. The program is open to 9-12 graders with a 2.7 or higher GPA.
