As soon as school began for the year, n freshmen started to realize that they need to get serious about school. ln the past, the students experienced a relatively worry-fr academic life, and many were careless abo their study habits. With the start of hig school, however, grades really begin to cou for or against students, depending on whet er they are good or bad grades. High school teachers expect much mo from students than lower grade teachers, an the students began to realize that it mig take a lot of time and hard work to meet ther expectations. Freshmen also started to w harder for good grades because now t they are actually in high school they ha something to look forward to: graduatio They know that in order to graduate, th must pass all of the required classes.
