Christa Boyett and her friends know how much fun group pictures can be rom is one of the most memorable times of a person's high school career. The dance, which is given by the Junior class as a farewell party for the Seniors, is planned far in advance. The Class of '88 Class Council met over the summer to find a ballroom and begin planning the food for the affair. Most students are not aware of the work involved in plan- ning the prorn, but they know how to enjoy itl Girls generally choose their dresses far in advance and their escorts acquire a matching tuxedo. Prom ,87 was held at Colony Square. Friends and couples let themselves loose to the sound of Silent Cry. Seniors enjoyed the spotlight during the Senior Walk, while under- classmen enjoyed the vast display of food. When the dance ended, party-goers flooded the seventh and eleventh floors of the Colony Square Hotel because these floors were reserved for after-prom parties.
