his year's Language Festival was held in November instead of in October, as it usually is, With this change, however, it still remained popular with stu- dents and many of the old favorites were still there. Among the most popular were the pievthrow, sponsored by the Latin club, and the celebrity sponge throw, sponsored by the French club. All the Foreign language clubs featured foods from that country's culture. With the participation of the clubs and student body, this year's Language Fest turned out to be an enjoyable night for everyone. Now Mr. Haney, it can't be that boring, can it? Scott Mcllrath, are you a target for the dart throw? 140 Tara DeRock paints a heart on Lor- raine Hursey's cheek for the French Club. Alyson Rappaport sets the music for the cake walk. l

Christa Boyett and her friends know how much fun group pictures can be rom is one of the most memorable times of a person's high school career. The dance, which is given by the Junior class as a farewell party for the Seniors, is planned far in advance. The Class of '88 Class Council met over the summer to find a ballroom and begin planning the food for the affair. Most students are not aware of the work involved in plan- ning the prorn, but they know how to enjoy itl Girls generally choose their dresses far in advance and their escorts acquire a matching tuxedo. Prom ,87 was held at Colony Square. Friends and couples let themselves loose to the sound of Silent Cry. Seniors enjoyed the spotlight during the Senior Walk, while under- classmen enjoyed the vast display of food. When the dance ended, party-goers flooded the seventh and eleventh floors of the Colony Square Hotel because these floors were reserved for after-prom parties.
