MISS STONE HIGH Alisa O'Neal, the 17 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawson O'Neal, is the 1977-78 Miss Stone High. During her school years, Alisa has participated in many organizations such as the Beta Club, FBLA, Latin Club, Speech and Drama Club, Paper Staff, and Y-Teens. She is also a student .council representative. Alis's special interests are raising cats and playing both softball and the piano. 44 I-Ionoxs!Who's Who MR. STONE HIGH Scott Strickland, the 17 year old son of Mr. and Mis. Roy B. Strickland, is the 1977-78 Mr. Stone High School. In the past four years Scott has been active in football, and was also a member of the Interact Club, S Club, FCA and the Student Council. Scott lists his special interests as bowling, skiing, riding horses, and eating.

Having a class together makes it hard for Alisa and Scott to concentrate on schoolwork. Mr. and Miss Stone High were elected by the entire student body in late September. Many students were nominated but only four were chosen to be in the run-off: Kent Ainsworth, Scott Strickland, Alisa O'Nea1, and Elisa Sn1ith. The results were so close that it took many recount to make sure who had won. For days the student body were tense in anticipation to know the outcome of the elections.
