SUNDRESSES KHAKI PANTS AND M D The Beginning of the school year brought many new fashions to our campus. Girls' fashions were soft and feminine and very chicg for example , during the warmer seasons many different styles and colors of sundresses with barettes, flowers, combs and stick pins worn as accessories were popular. Then as the weather began to get colder silver and gold jackets over shirts of shimering colors were the latest trendsetters for '78. Also khaki pants, cowl- neck sweaters, boots, and even knee- length sweaters were the ' 'thing' ' to wear. The boys' favorite dress styles were flannel shirts, army jackets, and plaid levi's shirts worn with huntin boots and an assortment of hats. Of course, everyone still reserved at least one day a week for the popular jeans and T-shirt twosome which will probably always be at the top of the fashion list for every teen- ager. il Army jackets, flannel shirts and khaki pants are really in this year, as shown by these students. 'Type rapidly but accurately' . These students try to remember this as they take their test Mrs. Roberts gives her 2nd period Co op class a chance to study before their test. 1 It seemed that during elementary and Junior high school that they came only on Fridays Now 1t's a different one in a different class every day. What l'm talking about 1S the one word we all hate to hear TEST. Of course we have each heard some teacher say over the years, ' 'But if I don't give you a test how will I know if you're learning! ' ' That's when we feel like saying, O K , but find another way ' ' Probably the worst test to ever get back is one with a big 69 written on it. Although tests are a real hassle sometimes, a great relief is the grade sheets. Since we don't have to bring them back signed, that gives us a little more time to prolong showing our parents our grades. That is probably the 4691 reason grade sheem are so popular with all the students. Mrs. Simpson goes over an Algebra problem similar to the ones to be given on the test.
