The annual staff then brought out the spirit chains. As the chains were spread across the grotmd it began to look like the Freshmen were Suddenly Mrs. Hollingsworth appeared with another bag of spirit chains belonging to the Seniors. The final tally showed the Seniors winning with the Freshmen second, jtmiozs third, and the Sophomores last. When the time came for the victory cheers, the spirit was so immense t.hat it was impossible to make a decision as to who won the spirit stick. The coaches decided that it was a four way tie among all the classes so the spirit stick was given to the whole student body. After the pep rally everyone went to what was left of sixth period and counted the :minutes until the school day would end.
