Leon Warden Sheila Warren Rosetta Wash Bob Weathers Harry Weaver Barbara Wells Glenda Gail Wells Glenda jean Wells Tony White Darlene Whittle Paytha Williams Tom Williams Leonard Strickland, a sophomore , has a very unique interest in electronics. Four years ago he became ' interested in becoming an Amateur Radio Operator fHamj which takes knowledge in basic electronics. I-le got this special hobby from his grandfather who is an electronic technician as well as a Ham operator, Leonard says that Ham operators have their advantages over citizens band radio operators in that they are able to conmmunicate with foreign countries. However, to operate a ham radio you must be able to send and receive morse code at a rate of at least five words per minute . Leonard enjoys working with I-Iam radios and hopes to have a bigger operation someday. People X Freshmen 155
