Moto Cross is the second most demanding sport in the world and preparing for one takes alot of hard work. People who ride Moto Cross and do well usually have a natural talent for it. Terry Owens, a senior, has been an expert racer in the Moto Cross for two-and-a-half years and during his first year he won the Mississippi State Championship Moto Cross race. He is a member of the American Motorcycle Association which has allowed him to travel to many different states including Texas, Missouri, North Carolina, and Georgia. During the sumrner, Terry entered a race in the Superdome in New Orleans in which out of the eighty entries, only twenty-four could qualify for the race . Terry qualified and finished nineteenth overall. He was the only privateer to make it to the finals. Terry has won around three thousand dollars during his past two years of racing.
