No longer can we depend on others to be the leaders. As seniors, we are the leaders of our school and therefore have great in- fluences, whether realized or not, on the younger students and especially those closest to us. They, though sometimes unknowingly, follow in our footsteps as we have those be- fore us. We have completed four years at Stone High. We have made friends, had fun, caused changes, and decreased in numbers. An era in the lives of us and those around us has come to an end as we graduate. We must now look ahead to our future years when our care- The Seniors show their spirit free days at Stone High will be during the pep rally on 50's all but forgotten. We must face a l world and society that can be T hostile and we must do our best to tame it. lVlany of us will make great contributions to this world, but it will be alone for the first times in our lives. We leave our friends in the hope that our paths will cross someday, yet in our heart we doubt that we will ever see many of them again. This is all a part of growing up, which we must all do, though we would sometimes rather not. We shall always hold dear in our hearts the days we lived together at Stone. lt is difficult to leave, yet we know that we must. We can neverh return to our carefree lives at Stone.
