Football season got under way quickly as the second day of school brought the beginning of football games. Those first few games were hot, muggy and WET and left everyone wishing for cooler weather so they could pull out thick blankets, mittens and hot chocolate. But alas, the season went on, the Tomcats winning, but the weather re- maining warm. Finally it cooled off, just in time for the last three games of the season. The contrariness of the weather did not seem to bother the Tomcats.
