Being in the Stone High Band During one of the band's breaks the bass drum pro- gftigfngogqga?fgfrixcgeliggciig lfft vides an ideal seat for Needham'Jones and Leon means marching on a muddy field Jones' in the rain. It means parades, . contests, concerts, tired feet, Burger King, long bus rides, and having pride in being part of an organization that works very hard but often receives little recogni- tion. This year the band marched in the Inaugural Parade at Jackson and in the Rex Parade at lVlardi Gras in New Orleans. They also appeared in the parades here in Wiggins. At Christmas and in the spring, the concert band presented concerts open to the public.
