PAGE THREE JAMES C. CAV For thirty-seven years James Cave has served Stockton l-ligh School - tirst as a Physical Education Instructor and tor the past twenty-six years as Dean of Boys. During his many years at Stockton High, Mr, Cave has hecorne an Integral part ot the academic and socual lite of the school. While he was coach ot the Stockton l-ligh eleven, the team vvos nicknamed the Cave-men and from this came our school symbol, Tarzan. To estimate how many students Mr. Cave has influenced and helped during his years as a teacher, clean, and friend is impossible. So, on behalf ot all students, past and present, vvho have known and loved him, vve dedicate to James C, Cave, in his retirement year, the nineteen hlintlred titty-live Blue and White.

Qu ' , gs .uf , vm' AM XX E' SEPTEMBER Dark tans and peeling skin were the only memoirs of o summer of fun as students returned to classes and hooks in September. OCTOBER King Football reigned supreme during the month of witches and goblins, and the newly organized Pep Club staged many rallies to cheer the Tarxans on to victory. NOVEMBER We played host to the public during American Education week. Class room exhibits, demonstrations, and a very special assembly gave our guests a good impression of Stockton High. DECEMBER Santa Claus made his annual appear- ance at Stockton High with the sound of caroling in the halls and Christmas decorations at every turn. JANUARY Back to work after the holidays, with every student making a New Year's resolution to pull up that slipping grade average. FEBRUARY A new innovation hit Stockton High when the GAA challenged the women's faculty to defend its honor on the basketball court. A lot of fun and a little basketball helped the GAA to emerge victorious, despite the efforts of Molly and Dolly . MARCH In spring a tenth grader's fancy lightly turns to thoughts of graduation. Here we visit the vast, vast campus of Stockton College to get our bearings and chart a course for next year's work. APRIL The month of hayfever and blossoms saw the Blue and White stage the April Fools' Frolic to close Blue and White sales. Here some avid boppers display the skill that helped them win the bop contest. MAY While the rest af the school was en- gaged in academic pursuits, tenth graders found time to relax and slack off a bit as graduation loomed on the horizon. PAGE TWO
