SENIOR MEMORIES Principai's Message on the most part the four years just end- ing have been most enjoyable. To be sure you have done some hard work, some of you far more than others, but you have formed friendships that will be lasting, and have had a good time in spite of difficul- ties that at times seemed insurmountable. You are going out now equipped, we hope, to face life with the same happy spirit with which you have met your problems in school. All life is not going to be easy with you. Issues will have to be met, decisions made. If what you have learned in the Stockton High School enables you to meet these is- sues squarely and to make your decisions intelligently, we shall feel that our teach- ing hns been successful. You will have to depend increasingly on your own resources, but you will also learn that people out of school are very much like those with whom you have associated the past four years. You will find friendliness, if you express it in your own personality. I wish you joy in all that you undertake which has worth. I hope that you will never attempt those things that are of doubtful value. My heart- felt good wishes go with you. XV. FRED ELLIS. Facult LANGUAGE SCIENCE? W.
