Winning most of their games, the Colts Racqueters proved to be a hard team to beat. The only losses suffered were to Lodi and Downey. Bob Rose and Luis Perez were the leading netters. The past season for the Tang golfers proved to be an exceptionally brilliant one. In eight league games, the squad was undefeated. Led by Bob Oliva, Dave Dillon, and Burgess Windsor, the team was ranked one of the top two teams in the state. Burgess Windsor, one of SC s stand-out golfers, was named Athlete of the Year for the city of Stocltton by the Stockton Jesters Club. Burgess, last year, won second place in the National Amputees Golf Tourney in Michigan; he plans to enter the Tourney again this year. Lee LaPlant loosens up while several of his teammates look on.
