FOREWORD Different doors lead to different things, but these familiar doors lead to our education and our future. The years spent behind these doors will prove to be the most enriching ones of our lives. Lessons taught here are important, but sportsmanship, humility, and respect are also acquired. The purpose of a good yearbook is to serve as a guide for the past school year. As you leaf through this edition of the PANTHER, we hope that many memories will be revived. DEDICATION We, the staff, dedicate the 1967 PANTHER to a teacher we admire and re¬ spect, Mrs. Nella O’Brien. She is a Junior High and Senior High English teacher. Mrs. O’Brien graduated from Crystal Falls High School in the Upper Pen¬ insula. She attended the College of St. Scholastica at Duluth and obtained her Bachelor of Music and Master of.Arts Degrees from Michigan State Universi¬ ty. Her teaching experience has been at Dansville and Stockbridge. The O’Brien family live on Parmen Road and consists of Mr. O’Brien, two sons and a daughter, Jack and Ellen at home and Tim who is married lives near Williamston. This dedicated teacher has been active as 8th Grade Advisor for several years and has been a member of the Advisory Committee. Currently, she is a member of the Honorary Society Committee and is serving on the teachers’ negotiating committee.
