Risner, R. Camp, S. Howard, P. Hardt, J. Hanne- wald, S. Rob, S. Brown, M. Skepanitis, J. Donohue, D. Bachelor The Lord made Adam, The Lord made Eve, He made them both a little bit naive. “Finian’s Rainbow” spins a fantastic story on two themes: the touching hope of an elderly Irishman that the crock of gold he has stolen from the leprechauns will multiply in the fertile soil adjacent to Fort Knox (with the government’s reserve as an example) and the fight of an engaging group of sharecroppers to pre¬ serve their land against the encroachments of a dema¬ gogue from the State of Missitucky named Billboard Rawkins. The sharp wit of the lyrics is matched by the gay tunefulness and sweep of the score thus making it a bright, lively, fast-moving musical comedy. Right here in Fort Knox, there’s where all the gold is buried. Mrs. Batchelor Dan Bloxom 27

HOOTENANNY - Continued Once again the athletic department sponsored a Hoote¬ nanny to raise funds for the scoreboard. That night we were “where the action was.” The entertainment varied from folk songs to popular music. The audience was invit¬ ed to clap and sing with the performers. The climax of the evening came when Kilroy made his unusual appearance. No one will forget that “Kilroy was there.” The Hamlin Family 29 Jill Marshall, Kathy Sweet, Sharon Holloway, Bonnie Teachout, Linda Conley, Debbie Stephens, Ruth Hannewald, Mark Hartsuff, Don and Dana Day Gary Stowe — KILROY
