TWAS THE Night Before Powerpufff' Twas the night before Tuesday of October the 12th, When all of the players were in tip top good health, Their flags were all tucked awaiting the night, When powder puff' s blast off was well into flight. The Juniors were ready, their defense all planned, The seniors were proud of their offense well manned. Now both teams were ready for the big football game, When one of the teams would fall into shame. Each player was dreaming of their teams winning score, But what came with the day was, oh, so much more. The morning bell seemed to trigger commotion, Of Johnson's powder and shaving cream lotion. Each girl showed a mark she was part of a team, With her jersey soaked in shaving cream. These stunts didn't sit well with most of the staff, Please just forgive us on our behalf. A pep-fest was next for the fine afternoon, Tenseness was mounting on a game played so soon. At half passed seven the kickoff in air, The odds were even as the game was played fair. The seniors came up with the first big score, For the rest of the night they had no more. Excitement mounted on the junior side, Til Conlin took it all in stride. As time ran out it remained a tie game, 6-6 with a tie-breaker and the score stayed thee same. Each player exclaimed as they rode out of sight, This really has been one heckuva night!!!
