1976 Letter To Seniors As students soon to leave this school, we have many ways to consider the days we've spent together and the lifetime we will spend apart. Our sophomore year came, and we found ourselves buried in the rigorous routine of studious living, learning such fundamentals as how to make a right turn and a complete stop. We adjusted our social time to fit our modular schedules after recog- nizing the advantages of two junior highs coming together. mls hefshe from Oakland?', But this was only the beginning. The thrill of seeing the first '76 on a letter jacket meant even more as we saw the spirit of achievement prevail. Our days together were carefree, sometimes wild, sometimes mellow, but with the hope of tomorrow always in our eyes. The beautiful summer ended, and we were formally called Juniors. We began to find our friends taking on new responsibilities in places of authority, like having our chemistry partner on the varsity squad and seeing our class representatives getting things done. Feelings of senioritis were already beginning to set in, but the privilege of attending prom eased some of the tensions. Time lingered ever so slowly, yet we soon found our final year upon us. Friends have come and gone, times have changed, but we are still a part of all whom we have met' and they are a part of us. This year has seemed especially im- portant in that we have had so many honors and unique experiences. This eventful year began with the 4-day plan under which we will be the first to graduate. We are honored to carry the titles of the Centennial and Bi-Centennial class in this presi- dential election and Olympic year. Never before have so many events filled our lives and minds. Questions, doubts and uncertainties about our future have occupied many more hours than homework Cin some casesj. Yet we are not afraid of tomorrow, for we have seen yesterday and we love today. We may never be the same again. As we leave Stillwater High School, We realize that the only way of returning to these special days will be through memories. This is not the end . . . not the beginning of the end. This is the end of the very beginning. 1.-f 'K 4 p-Q 11 - f,.S su I-IBN N' 4 3 1' x - ,, ,, V. 55 1 4 1'- '.,-- l, 3 j --my -' 'Lf,Q,, f - f. :JP-rare ., l f . 1 5' 1 ' ' -1 1 -hr' c 1- fits' .' - 31 2 51773 Rf ' 3. 1: - a:VI57Z11ix':r.1.-A-4.-w quggu-l is Q .K -1' J, .
