The Minnesota Vikings played a triumphant game on Sunday, January 25, against some of Stillwater's great stars. The AFS Club sponsored the event where we saw such celebrities as Matt Blair, Wally Hilgenberg, Sam McCullum, Stu Voigt, Nate Wright and Bob Lurtsema. A crowd of 18,000 Watched as a pass com- pletion sent spectators into tears, hysterics and each others arms. The town greeted the triumphant team with a giant pepfest Saturday and the trophies Were presented to the school. This Was the year StillWater's football team made it to the top.
