Une moment please . . . In the modern World of speed, We students are prone to forget the consideration and respect due our most important helmsmen, our par- ents. When one is a senior in high school, one looks at the outside World with a superior and conquering eye. We become so engrossed in paving a Way to the mirage of instant success, that the inclination to disregard the sincere advice of our mothers and fathers tends to be easier than before. Ever since we started school, our parents have offered guidance, helpfully and at the right times. Sometimes, perhaps, We haven't rec- ognized this Wise counseling, because it has been con- cealed by the mask of our own decisions. So, in order to reveal to our mothers and fathers the fact that We haven't completely forgotten them, We, the class of 1942, dedicate to them our Kabekonian. 4
