Always an active class, the juniors have their own ideas and see they are carried through. In declamation, Marcella Sawyer and Robert Kilpatrick distinguished themselves for their class. Through the sincere efforts of Clemens John- son, Worth Bloom, Marcella Sawyer, Bruce Erickson, and Bob Berg, their one-act play, Out of the Night won the all school contest. Then dramatic interest shifted to the Junior three-act play, Garden of the Moon, which proved the acting ability of Bruce Erickson, Don Swisher, Gerald Leander, Clemens Johnson, Beverly Ry- deen, Harriet Palm, Marilyn Nelson, Marcella Sawyer, Worth Bloom, Helen Anderson, and Bob Berg. The play which took place in the age of the Gibson Girl brought a packed house and a full treasury. Their crowning achievement of the year came with the Junior-Senior Prom where soft lights and sweet music caused many an adoles- cent heart to flutter.
