The Yearbook staff proudly presents the 1982 edition of THE WARRIOR Stillwater Central School Stillwater, New York 2 “DEDICATION” Anyone who has ever met Pete Brown knows what a great man he is. Pete, “The Sweep,” is a well known and respected figure in our community whose presence seems to bring smiles to the faces of young and old alike. A religious man, he has never hesitated to spread his love and kindness to all and has never refused a friend in need. Pete hasn't missed an important basketball game in years and it’s this dedication to Stillwater’s sports teams that has won him the “number one fan” award. We are proud to dedicate the 1982 Warrior yearbook to a man who will stay in our hearts and memories for many years to come, Pete Brown. 3 4 PROM ’81 7 CLASS DAY DANCE 9th Grade Queen — Brenda Rose 10th Grade Queen — Nancy Lilac x NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY HOMECOMING 1981 12 J clminidtration Mr. Clark — Superintendent Mr. Quinn — High School Principal Mr. Caruso — Elementary Principal 20 Mrs. Martin LANGUAGE Vocabulary tests ... For seldom will you find a soul with dreams the same as yours. Not often will another help you pass through untried doors. If inner forces urge you to take a course unknown. Be ready to go all the way yes, all the way alone. That’s not to say you shouldn’t draw lessons from the best; Just don’t depend on lauding works to spur you on your quest. Find confidence within your heart and let it be your guide. Strive ever harder towards your dreams and they won’t be denied. MARY E.
