JOHN A. CONNOR was a man who enriched the lives of many, and his loss was deeply felt by all who knew him. He was not only a dedicated and beloved husband and father, but also a dedicated and respected teacher and community member. He gave willingly his time, energy, and concern and will be fondly remembered by the administration, faculty, students, community, and family. Jack's varied experiences and interests reflect the enthusiasm he felt for life. At various times, he was involved in supervising youth activities through scouting and athletics. He also served as director of the CETA program, senior class advisor, and chaperone for many years. Jack did a great deal of voluntary work for the Church and community. As a communicant of St. Peters Church, he devoted time to the success of Wednesday evening bingo, and belonged to several church organizations. He also worked for the ambulance squad and frequently donated his sign painting, and artistic talent to various organizations, such as the Historical Society. Jack was a man who gave much of himself. He will live in the memories of many.
