Students from more that 20,000 public, private and parochial high schools throughout the country are recognized each year for their leadership in academics, athletics, activities or community service in these editions. Fewer that 3 per cent of the junior and senior class students nation-wide are awarded such recognition Burdyl is vice-president of the student council and a member of the National Honor Society and Drama Club. He plans to attend Cornell University or Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where he will major in architecture. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Burdyl of R.D. 1, Stillwater. 29
