Carl pos- sesses all the qualities of a star player. His first year on the team was a successful one. SHERRILL Dee played brilliant football at center. He was the pep of the team and was in every play. Sher- rill starred in this position, break- ing through the line, blocking passes and punts, and playing havoc with the opposing back field. Playing the position of quarterback he handled his men like a general. He is due much credit for the success of the team. A hard tackler, heady, speedy, and a good interference runner are synonoms for Junk on the football field. DUBERRY Slim plays faultless football at guard. Playing this position in every game, he held strong on the defensive. He has one more year in school and is expected to hold a more responsible position next season. .- vw Q.: COLEMAN Alvin showed himself a football man the first year on the team, but it is his last with us, for he is a Senior. He played at tackle. WADLEY Harlan, tougzhened up in the army, entered school for service as end on the eleven. He regain- ed his former pep and played wonderfully in every game. Ho is full of speed and fight, and is sure on a pass.
