I will see that she does not fail in this. Then Fear and Indolence departed. Average Girl, with the help of Pride stored the ark with all the things needed for the journey. But she was very glad indeed when the task was completed. For even though Pride helped her as much as possible, it was with difficulty that they put the ungainly First and Second Periphrastics, the Gerund and Gerundive into the ark. Aver- age Girl was dismayed at the way in which the different Geometric figures cluttered up the ark, and the various kinds of Criticism showed a singular unwillingness to re- A A ,WJ .5 vii. : - - - - ' 2 : - - 2 - - - - - - - A - Q : QlllllllllllllIIIIIIllIIIIIllIllllIIIIlllllllllllllllllllllll IIIIIIIIIIIIIIE - E . , - A 46 ,... s ...,,., I t as The Quest of the Golden Apples aw NJN Us H u ll ll n Il JI -0 .,- ll n u u u ll an on allIllIlllllllllllllllllllIIllllllIIIIlllIllllllIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIS ' ylllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllIlllllllllllllllllllIIIIIIIIIIIIIHC X X -risk ix A 7 -, I L-88.4
