B — SECOND PLACE — SENIORS AND TENTH 28 On October 3, Stewartville High School Students celebrated their 1969 Homecoming. Homecoming Queen candidates were Bonnie Barthleme, Maureen Carr, Dorothy Dormody, Jenny Nichols, and Karen Mullenbach. Jenny Nichols was crowned Queen Jenny I by Co-Captains Steve Blakely and Pat Carry at the Coronation Ceremony on Thursday October 2. On Friday afternoon, the Homecoming Parade (one of the finest in recent years) wound its way through the business district. First prize for float construction was won by the Junior Class, with the Sophomores and Seniors tying for second. In a very exciting football game, the fighting Tigers put up a tremendous struggle, but finally fell to a strong Kenyon 24-8. Following the game, the students and Alumni concluded the Homecom- ing celebration by dancing to the music of the Fourth Adventure. A -FIRST PLACE FLOAT -JR.
