MUSIC DEPARTMENT: Left to Right; Mr. BUSINESS DEPARTMENT: Left to Right; Robinson, Mr. Koehn. M“s Byram, Miss Anderson. We are fortunate to have teachers on the faculty of Stewartville High School who are dedicated to their profession of guiding students in their quest for knowledge. They are willing not only to work five days a week in the classroom but also carry on extra curricular duties such as acting as advisors to school organizations and directing school activities. In addition, they chaperone social events and lend a sympathetic ear to students' difficulties and problems. In the years following graduation, the students will remember and appreciate the efforts of their high school teachers and realize the many benefits derived from the knowledge gained during these formative years. 29

Keeping the school office running in smooth order are our secretaries. Mrs. Roeder and Mrs. Tuttle. Each day, as the students and teachers wait in line for their lunch, Mrs. Tuttle punches lunch tickets and gives each student a bright smile. Mrs. Roeder and Mrs. Tuttle are ever ready to help us with our problems. Oscar Bakken and Maynard Blegen are the janitors who are following in the very able footsteps of Mr. Long. They too carry out many of the duties that Mr. Long performed before he left us. Mrs. Russert, Mrs. Murray and Mrs. Fauver take good care of us in the hot lunch room by serving good food with a cheery and friendly outlook. Many hours of their time are spent in planning good meals for us. We are deeply grateful to all of these people who make our day at S.H.S. more enjoyable. ii
